"Ready, Set, Spin! Get Involved in Our 12-Hour Charity Challenge"




We are excited to officially launch the 12-Hour Challenge website and invite you to join us for this incredible event! Whether you’re ready to hop on a bike, lace up your running shoes, or lend a hand as a volunteer, there are so many ways to get involved. This event is about coming together as a community to support two remarkable causes—and we can’t do it without you. Sign up today and help make this 12-hour challenge one to remember!


This year, we're proud to be raising funds for two wonderful Irish charities: the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) and the Athlone Family Resource Centre.





Supporting the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA)

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a devastating condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness, difficulty in speaking, breathing, and even moving. The IMNDA is dedicated to providing essential care and support to those diagnosed with MND and their families. By participating in the 12-Hour Challenge, you're not just spinning or running, you are helping improve the quality of life for people facing an unimaginable diagnosis.





Supporting the Athlone Family Resource Centre

We’re equally excited to be supporting the Athlone Family Resource Centre, a cornerstone of the local community. For years, the Centre has been a beacon of support, offering services and programs that uplift individuals and families. Whether it’s providing educational opportunities, promoting social inclusion, or simply offering a place of comfort and guidance, the Centre plays a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of residents. Despite the Centre’s importance, it receives very little government funding. Your participation and donations will go directly toward helping them continue their life-changing work in the community.


How You Can Get Involved:

The 12-Hour Challenge is more than just a test of stamina—it’s an opportunity for us all to give back. Whether you plan to join us for an hour, a couple of hours, or the full 12, every hour counts. You can sign up as an individual or form a relay team to take turns throughout the day. Not cycling or running? No problem! You can still make a huge impact by sponsoring a participant or donating directly.
